How many bits?

In an episode of Star Trek the Next Generation, Data reveals that he has a total memory capacity of 400 quadrillion bits. This spisode is entitled, “Measure of a Man”. I just had this random thought today, and googled the math to find that 400 quadrillion bits = 46 566 128.7 gigabytes which is a LOT of space! Over 46.5 million GB! Now thats some nice storage space. That also equates to 45 474.7351 terabytes.
